The dental clinic is open all year, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. -  4:30 p.m., except for scheduled school holidays. For an appointment or more information, call (225) 334-4934.

I am in the Slidell Area and myself as well as some of my friends and family definatly need someone to help with our dental issues. Not from drugs, from living WELL below the poverty line. I am disabled at 42 and have a 16yr old son I'm still raising. I have to have someone sit with me for the days, cook our dinner, clean up, do laundry.....all of the things I was able to do until 2007. Thank Goodness I have a loving family. My boyfriend takes care of us. Son also has disability. We are in desperate need for someone, anyone, to care about those that live so far below the poverty line it's a joke. Thanks

Some of these require that you must work on average 20-30 hours a week or you will not be eligible. What if I work and also am a student? I don't make 30 hours a week at work. I have a part time job to help me get by with gas and food while I am in college. I don't make much money, but it's enough to get me to and from school. I don't have any insurance and I haven't for quite some time. I am 20 years old and I really need dental work. I know that I have a cavitity and I may need my wisdom teeth taken out. How can I get help?

Hi,
My name is Ann. I am currently experiencing tooth pains that are indescribable and need at least three root canals I cannot afford. However, I am not worried about myself as much as I am concerned for my mother. Her teeth have been hurting her. It is rotting way more than mines. She finally has a job that gives her insurance. However, that insurance is little to no help. She spends most of her money paying on it so she cannot afford the actual work. It is taking a toll on her physical as well as mental being. It hurts me to see such a confident woman suffer from low self-esteem and pain. If anyone knows any way I can help her or any program that can help, I would really appreciate it. tap2535@gmail.com

I am in serious need of dental work. I am going through a divorce after 13 yrs. of marriage. I was always the stay home mom. If I did work, it was only part time for family to give me something to do & make a little extra money for myself. I still have dental insurance through my soon to be ex husbands employer. Right now, I can barely chew my food. I have always had bad teeth. Cavity after cavity. Fillings fall out. Root canals, extractions. Etc.. I have always taken good care of them, I don't understand why there so bad off. My last visit to the dentist due to a major abcess, I was told I need a few teeth surgically removed. I am already missing half of my teeth on the left side of my mouth. I am so embarrassed to smile. I can't even afford my copay, much less a few teeth surgically removed, & something to put in their place. I am in so much pain fromThe few teeth I have left on the sides & the back . I can not work full time due to my daughters & their fathers work schedule. I am in need of IMMEDIATE SERIOUS HELP!!!! Can someone PLEASE TELL ME WHAT CAN BE DONE???

This is an amazing website:

Most dental schools now only offer reduced fees, still not affordable to those with very low income. Try this.

  1. Get to a Pentecostal/Charasmatic church service (try God/Faith 1st).
  2. Write your story in MS Word or in an eMail. YOU MUST USE THE SPELL-CHECK feature and correct the typo's.
  3. Copy/paste on each recommended website's "contact" page or eMail them.
  4. Wait for replies.
  5. Google for more websites.

BE BLESSED.

in response to dodo50...   I understand my mom's 41 years old and my dad work's but money is slow atm. I think it's sad when you have no money to pull are look at it. They look down on you like you're poor are something it's just sad what they do just because you have no money. I understand they need to get paid also. But what if they had no money and there tooth hurt and they didn't have any money would it be the same for them? i think they should make a. Dental place for people with low income and such. But oh-no they can't can they it really pisses me off that i got to watch my mom lay there in pain with her tooth and they don't give a F***. it's bull what they do to us. Cause of low income and having no money. If anyone find's anything plz help me out. thx
